Harvard Business Review articles - remember, these are good, but not necessarily peer-reviewed. So use them sparingly to support your academic work.

International Leadership Association
The International Leadership Association is THE organization of which to be a member if you are doing anything in the field of leadership. Although it is not specifically a Christian organization, many, many Christian business and academic leaders are highly regarded among their membership. If you have not already, I would highly encourage you to consider a student membership in the organization.

One team's reflection on their experience:

MAChM and MAThe Professional Organizations

Evangelical Theological Society : "The Evangelical Theological Society is a professional academic society of biblical and theological scholars, pastors, and students. We serve Jesus Christ and his church by fostering conservative, biblical scholarship. We seek to accomplish this goal through our Annual Meeting, regional meetings, and publications such as our Journal. Our meetings are open to the public and our publications are available for purchase. Older volumes of the Journal are made available freely through our online archive."

Institute for Biblical Research : "The Institute for Biblical Research is an organization of evangelical Christian scholars that fosters excellence in biblical studies within a faith environment."

Society of Biblical Literature : "SBL, a membership organization with over 7,000 scholars, is the oldest and largest learned society devoted to the critical investigation of the Bible from a variety of academic disciplines. Through its work, SBL supports scholarly research and fosters the public understanding of the Bible and its influence."

American Academy of Religion : "The American Academy of Religion's mission is to foster excellence in the academic study of religion and enhance the public understanding of religion."

Society for Pastoral Theology : "The Society for Pastoral Theology (SPT) is a community of scholars, teachers, students, and practitioners of care committed to enriching the discipline of pastoral theology and advancing its role in equipping people for ministry. Membership is open to others sharing these concerns. We meet annually to engage presentations and workshops by various members of the Society and to work collaboratively in study groups. In addition, SPT publishes the Journal of Pastoral Theology which seeks to further the understanding of pastoral theology as a theological discipline and to provide resources for teaching and pastoral practice."
Association of Practical Theology: "The Association of Practical Theology (APT) promotes critical discourse that integrates theological reflection and practice. Reconstituted from its predecessor organizations in 1984, the APT was sparked by the investigation of practical theology as an integrative hermeneutical endeavor at the heart of theological education, characterizing not only the ministerial sub-disciplines but also a manner and method of engaged reflection."
